Toxic Soaps are not good for our beaches
I lived in Florida for the past 14 years and have visited to beach less than 10 times. To tell you the truth, the beaches here does not look that inviting to me. I grew up frequently swimming in the beaches of my native island St Croix and I have grown use to what a natural beach looks like. But living in Florida, which have some of the more nicer beaching on the U.S. mainland, have become polluted and unattractive. Why is it that our beaches are not as beautiful and natural as they should look? I know there is more than one factor to this problem but one of the bigger factors are what we are putting down our drains.
Do you realize that everything you put down your drains ends up in our beaches, rivers, lakes, streams, and underground aquifers. Often times, without even thinking about it, we pour bleach into our toilets, add toxic dish soap in our sinks to get sparkeling clean glasses, and wash load after load of laundry detergents without thinking of the harm it can cause to our beaches. Not to mention the furtalizers we spead on our grass and washing down our cars with toxic soap. All these chemicals end up in our water system and destroy our most precious resources.
If we all will be mindful of the harm we are causing when we pour chemicals in our drains and try to use natural alternatives such as Enviro-One Green Cleaner http://www.enviro-one.com, we can be able to restore our beaches and have them for our enjoyment for years to come.
